small yellow center a sun was the first collaborative project between artists nkiruka oparah and
Maxine Schoefer-Wulf, bringing together new works by each artist across drawing, sculpture, and
writing, to consider blue as a web of relations, exhibited at LAND AND SEA in Oakland in
October 2022. Central to the installation was an animation the artists made together by responding
to each other's drawings.
